Hey guys, I hope you don't mind me asking this, but I'm planning to go to WinCon. I'd rather not fly, so is anyone driving who might possibly have room in their car?

I figured this comm might be a better place to ask than winchestercon, since we're all around the same area.

Jensen Ackles's movie Ten Inch Hero (I was ROFLMAO when I saw the title!) has been chosen as the closing night screening at this year's Santa Cruz Film Festival. The screening is Saturday, April 28th, at 7:30 PM.

lycanthrophile and I already have our tickets, but if anybody else wants to meet up, the more the merrier!

Although I still can't believe that Jensen made a movie in Santa Cruz, and I didn't even know about it till now! I am such a piss-poor excuse for a fan...

Hi everyone! I found this awesome charity auction on eBay and thought it might be of interest. Jared and Jensen have co-autographed five of the cutest little bears I've seen. There's also loads of other tv and film celebrities who helped out! Enjoy!

With the support of the Vancouver film industry, we are proud to bring you Bears that Care for BC Women's - the cutest fundraiser in town!

Famous personalities from film and television have thrown their support behind BC Women's by autographing these cuddly little bears. And they are just crying out for a new home - with you!

100% of the proceeds from the auctions of the Bears that Care for Women's will benefit the BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre (Charitable Registration No: 890267537RR0001)

BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre is Canada’s busiest maternity hospital. Your assistance helps us care for the pregnant women who come here from across the province when they’re in danger, when something suddenly goes terribly wrong during their pregnancy. By helping us raise money in this project, you are also helping us provide the best possible care for more than 1,200 babies every year who fight for their lives in our Special Care Nursery. You are helping BC Women’s, a recognized world leader in women’s health, care for women at every stage in their lives.

Each week until the end of March, a new group of celebrity bears will be up for grabs.

You can find out what's up for grabs each week at http://tinyurl.com/2whb82

Hey SPN peeps.

So. A couple Bay Area folks and I have been talking about doing a marathon SPN watching party...cause...well, why not, right?

We're looking at early in Jan...first or second weekend...and I have volunteered the use of my house, big screen tv, surround sound and season 1 DVD set.

Of course, the catch is that I live in Tracy.

But...I'm willing to run shuttles to Dublin Bart, and provide crash space for those who drive and don't want to do it after a late night.

I figured to start like at noon-ish and go until...well whenever actually...and there'd be food and beverages, and name-tags and squee-filled fun...fangirls and boys...and love of the Winchester boys....and stuff.

Anyone interested?

How many people are arriving Thursday night? I will be there and would LOVE to watch that night's ep with others. There were so many moments last night where I wanted to be able to share the squee. I'll be at the Manager's Open House (the almost all-you-can-drink thingiee) in the atrium by 6:30 pm. I'll be wearing a New Orleans t-shirt if you don't know me already. ;D

I've registered today for BasCon and have reserved a hotel room. I have several friends who've expressed interest in rooming with me, but if anyone else is interested, please let me know, we'll try to get everyone accommodated.

I want to have an SPN room party there. I need to know who is going in with me on this ASAP. If you are going to the con for more than one day, even if you live in the area, you really do want to stay at the hotel. It's just so much easier, because there is so much to do and see and you will want someplace to stash your dealers room finds and your coat and your bags and you will not want to go home at 11 or later to be there the next day by 9 or 10 when things get started. Trust me on this. I have been going to cons since 1977, though this is the first time I have gone to Bascon. Also, we will need to know who is bringing what to the party, because I want to make this happen, but obviously, I cannot do it all by my bad self.

You do not actually need to be a Wincest shipper to hang out with us although you do need to not freak out at the mention of it :) As this will not take place in my apartment, you do not need to not be allergic to cats, either.
